What each tier contains
Reports come in tiers. This page sets out what each tier includes — the register extracts, the factual report, and the level of verification.
A Tier 1 report gives you the raw register extract with a factual cover note. Tier 2 adds a structured analysis against the primary source. Tier 3 adds a written opinion on what the record does and does not establish. Every tier is dated and sourced.
